Craig's last-gasp winner is a dream come true as stopper helps Jambos stretch their lead at the top
DERBY hero Craig Halkett put years of injury hell behind him to hit a dream winner and send jubilant Jambos five points clear at the top of the Premiership.
The Hearts stopper volleyed home an incredible 91st-minute winner to crush Hibs, send Tynecastle into a frenzy and boost their hopes of a title challenge.
The former Rangers and Livi defender has struggled for fitness and form the last few seasons but he put that all behind him as he powered in the winner to break the derby stalemate in dramatic fashion.
The big defender said: "What a feeling.
"I've played in a lot of derbies in my time here and I haven't scored in one, so what a way to get the first goal in an Edinburgh derby and to be a winner at Tynecastle. I can't believe it.
"It makes you forget about the last couple of years. Moments like that, it's like stuff you're doing about when you come to a team like Hearts.
"Like I said, the last few years has been tough, last year especially.
"Not playing as much the club not doing as well as it should have done, especially in the derby matches.
"So it was important that we went out, got a performance and got the three points today.
