Fury over Gaza blitz footage

Red Crescent film features clearly marked ambulances before attack

FOOTAGE of a blitz on a convoy of ambulances and a fire truck in war-torn Gaza which left 15 rescue workers dead appears to undermine Israel's account of the attack.

The Israeli Defence Forces claimed "uncoordinated vehicles were identified advancing suspiciously without headlights or emergency signals".

But, in a video published by the Palestine Red Crescent Society, vehicles are shown moving in the dark with emergency flashing lights before shooting starts.

PRCS said the footage was from the family of a victim of the March 23 attack.
