THERE'S a saying from political life in America that might be familiar to Rangers' Californian owner Andrew Cavenagh.

Given the unprecedented level of venom being directed towards the club, precautionary action might be thought an urgent requirement. Rangers' players are apparently of a nervous disposition on match day and, with it, have a tendency towards underachievement.
