PROTESTERS at a hotel housing migrants have been accused of weaponising a woman's trauma to support their far-right agenda.

In comes after hundreds of people gathered outside Falkirk's Cladhan Hotel yesterday for the second time this month.

The Sunday Mail has revealed how the events are organised by a violent thug who has a string of convictions, and members of far right and extremist groups have also been in attendance.

The protest came after Afghan asylum seeker Sadeq Nikzad, who had previously stayed at the Cladhan, was convicted of raping a teen girl in the town last month.

In a letter to equalities minister Kaukab Stewart, the Scottish Trades Union Congress Women's Committee said: "The last few months have seen significant escalation in hostility towards asylum seekers with angry protests. Unfortunately, this rhetoric is gaining a foothold in some communities.
