DON'T TAKE IT PERSONALLY

ANDY WALKER has sided with Barry Ferguson in the ongoing war of words with Brendan Rodgers - saying there's nothing personal in pundits expressing their opinions.
-
The Celtic gaffer jumped to the defence of Russell Martin on Friday, slamming the criticism his Ibrox counterpart has faced after Rangers' poor start to the season.
Although he didn't name names, Rodgers appeared to indirectly call out Ferguson, Neil McCann and Billy Dodds who have been critical of Martin in the media since their term as the interim coaching team came to an end.
And the Celtic gaffer's comments sparked a fiery response from Record Sport columnist Ferguson on the radio.
Walker, who played almost 200 times for Celtic across two spells, admits he hasn't always seen eye to eye with Ferguson, McCann & Co.
But he doesn't believe they've been over the top in their criticism of Martin and doesn't see things the same way as Rodgers.
Walker said on Go Radio: "I think there's an interesting point to be made one that Barry won't make himself.
