NO ONE was talking about Don Robertson after yesterday's showpiece... and that is exactly what he will have wanted.

In the first half there was nothing to concern him but that doesn't mean Don wasn't working hard to manage things.

It is a national cup final and while players and managers can get edgy, the officials cannot afford to be.

The only word I can use to describe Don's display? Brilliant.

Don and his team couldn't have asked for a better cup final.

You can say they got a perfect game to manage but a ref makes it perfect with their performance.
