Brown: OAPs and kids are Reform target

GORDON Brown has warned a Nigel Farage government would lead to more children in poverty and more pensioners suffering.

The former prime minister hit out at the £400billion-a-year cuts promised by Reform UK, explaining it would take the equivalent of shutting down the NHS and closing schools to achieve such enormous savings.

Farage's deputy Richard Tice has said he is plotting to slash public funding to 35 per cent of GDP, which could deprive public services of £275billion.

In a rallying call to the country to take on Farage and his cronies, Brown warned failing to stop Reform would mean ordinary folk could not afford to be sick, disabled or unemployed.

The Labour stalwart also slammed the dire Tory record that has left 4.5million children suffering in poverty.
