CITY HEAT Balding's star battled to maiden Group 1 win

Andrew Balding's bay was a 7/2 shot for the first running of this race as a Group 1 after making rapid progress this summer.
The four-year-old was pushed along early by Oisin Murphy as course specialist Quinault set a strong early pace.
