ERIK TEN HAG may not want to admit it publicly but Manchester United are firmly in the title race.

Two goals in four manic minutes confirmed his side as genuine contenders for a 21st league title.
A ninth win in a row in all competitions took Ten Hag’s side up to third, just a point behind City and within six of leaders Arsenal – where United go next weekend.
Ten Hag may want to play down talk of a title tilt but United are right in the mix and could overtake City this week if they beat Crystal Palace on Wednesday.
Such a scenario was unthinkable two games into the season, after back-toback defeats to Brighton and Brentford left United bottom of the table.
