MOVIE icon Tom Cruise is taking aim at Scarlett Johansson and other A-listers in a battle to become Hollywood's real-life box office Top Gun.
The big screen action hero, 63, who last week landed his first ever Oscar, for a life time of achievement, is gunning for his rivals in a bid to land the title of world's highest-grossing actor.
Cruise has lined up lead roles in an astonishing six blockbuster films, including another big budget Top Gun sequel, in a bid to shoot his way up the annual list of stars generating the most revenue.
The list, announced in July, shows Avengers star Scarlett, 40, on top with her combined 52 movies so far yielding a cumulative £11.6billion at the global box office.
