Last laugh for 'bat-lover' Ozzy

OZZY Osbourne “had the last laugh” after being buried near bat protection boxes on the family estate.

The Black Sabbath frontman, who died aged 76 on July 22, was laid to rest last week by a lake in the grounds of his mansion.

He had said he did not want to be remembered as the man who bit the head off a bat during a gig in Des Moines, Iowa, in 1982.

But Ozzy was buried near to where multiple bat boxes were installed in trees in 2022 on his Buckinghamshire estate.
