IN THIS instance, leadership is much like the postal service: it's all about delivery.
Working for the new President Trump administration must at times be akin to working with whiplash - you go to bed heading north on a policy, only to wake up hours later to see the course has been firmly set to south! But it does leave few in any doubt as to the direction of travel.
The second Trump term marked 100 days in office last week, admittedly a weird invention by the media which, while most probably pretty meaningless as to what will happen over the next 1,300-plus days to come, does undoubtedly set the momentum and tone of what we can expect.
And for Trump term two it is as abrasive as it is confrontational, with little if any
SPEAKING at a hospital in Lancashire ahead of last week's local elections, Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer claimed anyone voting for either the Conservatives of Reform would be "conned". Which is beyond irony coming from someone to whom millions lent their votes last year and who are now feeling they are the victims of the biggest con since Bernie Madoff's Ponzi scheme from the 1990s and 2000s.
