Highly ambitious! 'Mountain Goat' Jack, 10, in bid to scale 100 peaks in 50 days

MANY 10-year-old boys might be happy staying home to play computer games – but Jack Adams has set his sights a little higher.

Jack, nicknamed “Mountain Goat” by his parents, is in the middle of a bid to climb 100 mountains in 50 days. He has already conquered an incredible 68 in 19 days and is completing his charity challenge at weekends, in the evenings and during school holidays.

Jack is walking the Welsh peaks of Snowdonia, the Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains alongside his parents Caroline, 45, and Kurt, 49, as well as Oscar the dog.
