Great British battles being lost in schools

CHILDREN in England's schools are not being taught about major events in British history including the seismic battles of Agincourt, Trafalgar and Waterloo.
Freedom of Information requests to almost 250 state secondary schools and an analysis of exam board data found fewer than one in five schools teach the Battle of Agincourt, won by King Henry V, and just 11% cover the other two clashes.
Less than half tell pupils about the Glorious Revolution when King James II was deposed and replaced with his daughter Queen Mary II and her husband William III of Orange in 1688.
