TREVOH CHALOBAH'S second-half red card has added to Chelsea's centre-back crisis as the Blues conceded two stoppage-time goals in a late collapse at home to Brighton.

Enzo Fernandez's header in the 24th minute gave Chelsea the lead, but Danny Welbeck, on as a substitute, equalised with a close-range header.

Welbeck and Maxim de Cuyper then sealed victory with further goals in added time after the Chelsea defender's sending-off. Chalobah will now miss next weekend's crunch match with champions Liverpool through suspension, with Tosin Adarabioyo, Levi Colwill and Wesley Fofana also missing due to injuries.

Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca urged his team to stop gifting the opposition after their second red card in as many games.
