Suspected loan shark is arrested

A SUSPECTED loan shark has been arrested following a swoop by officers investigating illegal money lending.
A man, 59, was held following an operation by the England Illegal Money Lending Team (IMLT) in Bramhall, Stockport, on Wednesday of last week.
A business premises in nearby Disley in Cheshire was also searched as part of the same operation.
The IMLT executed a search warrant at the address in Bramhall with help from officers from Greater Manchester Police, seizing electronic devices. The suspect was taken into custody to be questioned by IMLT investigators.
