THREE exciting young talents have committed their immediate future to Stockport County, signing pro-contracts at Edgeley Park.

Promising trio sign pro deals at County

Academy products Marcus Kouam and Rhys Watson have both signed their first pro-deals with the Club following impressive 2024/25 campaigns, whilst 19-year-old defender Christy Grogan has joined on a one-year-deal after a successful trial period.

17-year-old forward Kouam joined our Academy last Summer as a first-year scholar, and has gone on to have great success in our youth teams. Despite his young age, Marcus showed a real eye for goal throughout the campaign, finishing as the top scorer in the U21s Premier League Cup Group Stage with six goals - one every 57 minutes.

Named in a strong looking County side for our B-team game against Middlesbrough in April, the young forward found the net again at Edgeley Park before setting up Jack Diamond for our second later in the half. He also enjoyed his first experi-ence of senior football during a loan spell at Curzon Ashton in the National League North, making five appearances for the Nash.

Marcus has signed a two-year-deal with the Club, keeping him at Edgeley Park until June 2027.
