Arrests after fatal shooting at city bar

TWO people have been arrested in Stockport on suspicion of murder following the fatal shooting of a woman outside a city centre bar in Sheffield.

The 30-year-old victim was enjoying a night out when the tragic incident occurred on West Street in the early hours of Bank Holiday Monday.
Emergency services were called at 2.45am after reports emerged of a shooting outside the One Four One bar in the bustling nightlife district.
She received treatment at the scene from police and paramedics before being rushed to hospital, where she subsequently died.
South Yorkshire Police have confirmed that formal identification has yet to take place, though her family has been notified and is receiving support from officers.
