School's 10-year project helps pupils overseas

Donation made to Let us Shine
Stirling school pupils have made their latest significant contribution to helping their counterparts overseas as part of a decade-long partnership.
For the past 10 years, the pupils at St Margaret's Primary School, Cowie, have been raising money to support Let us Shine Academy, a charity school for girls in one of the most deprived areas in Northern Ghana.
In particular they have sponsored one girl, and followed her progress from Primary one to Junior Secondary School. She will be sitting National Exams next year and plans to join the Ghanaian Armed Forces.
It is unlikely that she would have reached this level of education, without being able to attend Let us Shine.
