Iconic car race to make stopover around Stirling Castle
Excitement
Excited schoolchildren were driven crazy by cars as they were given a sneak peek of a hugely anticipated event.
Children from St Mary’s Primary School in Bannockburn were given a classic car experience to remember as the countdown continues to the Monte Carlo Rally.
The iconic Monte Carlo Rally - now in its 100th year - passes through Stirling on Thursday, en route to the South of France, with ‘Monte Fest’ to be hosted free of charge at Stirling Castle.
Residents and visitors will be able to feast their eyes on a range of classic cars as they arrive in the city from approximately 4.30pm and head for the castle esplanade.
