Plan to market land at Forthside is approved

No evidence of a foolhardy attempt to overtake

Stirling Council has approved the start of a marketing process for a key site within Forthside.

The plot next to the Engine Shed and behind Stirling railway station could support up to 120 homes and is also next to the future Forthside Square, the civic space at the heart of the emerging city quarter.

The decision, made at a recent council meeting, is said to mark a "pivotal moment" in realising the long-term vision of the Forthside Masterplan.
