Jobs fair pulls in crowds

Forth Valley Jobcentres are reporting success with a recruitment fair which brought more than 200 people to Forth Valley College in April.

Twenty employers and five training providers attended the event, with 248 attendees hoping to make the most of the opportunities available.
Laura Dawson External Relations Leader for Forth Valley said: "The event brought together jobseekers and employers, creating valuable connections that are leading to interviews, and potential job offers!"
Jobseekers also praised the event for the range of employers present and the 50+ midlife MOT that was run during the event. Laura added: "Our Midlife MOT provides an overview of work, health and wealth in relation to retirement planning" all our 50+ Jobseekers are offered the opportunity to attend one of these sessions.
