Young Vipan of Haryana bags wins Panya Dangal

Young 18-year old, Vipan of Raiwal in district Sonipat, clinched the 14th Panya (Akhnoor) Dangal title beating top J&K wrestler, Benia Min of J&K Police in the main bout that took place at Government High School Panya in Chowki Choura area of district Jammu.

Vipan received a cash prize of Rs. 40,000 along with a traditional 'Gurj (Gadda)' and the Panya Kesari Patta, while runners-up Benia presented Rs 30,000.
The mega event was organized by the Panj Peer Dangal Committee Panya in association with J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association, under the over-all supervision of prominent social activist and wrestling promoter, Ram Paul Sharma and Raj Kumar Sharma.
