Students, faculty of GDC Bishnah visit Old Age Home in Jammu

In a heartwarming initiative, four faculty members and 30 students from Government Degree College (GDC), Bishnah visited the Home for the Aged & Infirm (commonly known as Vridh Ashram) in Amphalla, Jammu. The visit aimed at fostering compassion, empathy, and respect for the elderly among the youth.

The delegation was led by Dr.: Geeta, Dr. Koshal Kiran, Shrotika Rajput, and Preeti Mahajan. The objective of the visit was to provide students an opportunity to interact with the elders, understand their life experiences, and learn valuable life lessons through the theme "What to Do & What Not to Do" when engaging with elders at home and in society.
