JKPSA Jammu delegation meets Secy School Education, presents memorandum

To appraise about the difficulties faced by the private schools, J&K Private Schools Association Jammu presented a memorandum to the Secretary of School Education Jammu and Kashmir, Ram Niwas Sharma at Srinagar.

President of the Association, Ajay Gupta, while presenting the memorandum, highlighted the problems which have been erupted due to the non availability of online services since May 7, 2025 on the sites of SED JK UT, JKBOSE and DSEJ. He also elaborated serious concern for the non adaptation of new added clauses in sub rule 3 of SRO 123 as (a) and (b) of SRO 292 of 2018 (amended) for the quick disposal of the files in time bound manner by JKBOSE and education department. He briefed that a new procedures to grant permission to establish, run, maintain or extend the permission of a private school had been laid in circular number 02-SED of 2022 on February 10, 2022.
