DBPS shows resentment over Urdu compulsory for qualifying Naib Tehsildar posts

JAMMU: Up in arms against the J&K Service Selection Board of keeping language test as compulsory for qualifying Urdu Naib Tehsildar posts in its recently advertisement, Dogra Brahmin Pratinidhi Sabha (DBPS) President Ved Parkash Sharma,its Chairman Advocate P.C Sharma, former Dy Commissioner B.S Jamwal and representatives of various organisations have voiced their strong resentment over the alleged discriminatory move against well educated Jammu youth.

Interacting with media persons in the Sabha Premises, they appealed to Prime Minister, Home Minister, JKUT LG & the chief Minister Omar Abdullah to personally intervene and remove Urdu from the notification. They alleged that this notification is discriminatory and regional based move and the rights of Jammu youth to fair and equal access to public employment.
