JAMMU: The Central University of Jammu has proudly secured the 28th position among Central Universities in the prestigious Indian Institutional Ranking Framework (IIRF) 2025, reaffirming its status as a rising star in India's higher education landscape.

Leading institutions such as Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi University, and Banaras Hindu University remain at the top of the rankings. CU Jammu achieved an impressive overall index score of 934.95, a significant leap from its 39th position last year.
This upward momentum reflects the University’s unwavering commitment to academic excellence, research innovation, and transformative education. The IIRF rankings-released on June 13, 2025-are among the most respected in India, assessing over 2,500 institutions on parameters including teaching quality, research output, industry collaboration, infrastructure, and student success.
