Workers at new development aim to boost firms

WORKERS due to be based at a major new office scheme in Swansea say they intend supporting other city centre businesses as much as possible.

Andrea Bovingdon and Victoria Hill, of flexible workspace provider IWG, are among those looking forward to visiting the city centre's cafes, shops and restaurants during their breaks when they move into the 71/72 Kingsway development.

IWG are among a number of tenants to have signed-up to the building, which is now 80% let.

Financial company Futures First are also on board, along with travel and leisure company TUI.

Talks are advanced for all remaining space at the building, which can accommodate up to 600 workers.

Developed by Swansea Council, the 104,000 square foot scheme is being part-funded by the Swansea Bay City Deal.
