Tidy night as Wales's best are celebrated

THIS month I get to host four very different awards evenings.

Towards the end of the month I get to the Swansea Bay Apprentice Awards at the Swansea.com Stadium which is an evening to celebrate the future of the construction industry and to recognise the hard work of some of the most skilled and talented apprentices from across the region.

The stadium also plays host to the Gower College Swansea Awards where learners from a range of full and part time courses, apprenticeships, higher education pathways, access courses and employability support programmes pick up awards.

It's always an incredible evening where the hard work and achievements of students is celebrated.

I had to travel to Birmingham for the Nemo Office Club awards and dinner but it’s always lovely to hear the voice of Michael Morgan from Morgan and Morgan in Cross Hands, one of the event organisers and boy do they all know how to party.

One of my favourite events of the year is much closer to home at the beautiful Brangwyn Hall.

The Nation Radio Pride of Wales Awards is an annual event held in Wales to recognise individuals who have made significant contributions to their communities.
