Teaching is strong at welcoming, friendly school

PEN y Fro Primary School is a welcoming, friendly and happy school where teaching is strong and pupils make good progress in lessons, inspectors have found.

A team from Estyn published their report on the school in Dunvant this term.

They said supportive relationships between staff and pupils contribute significantly to pupils' strong sense of belonging and their positive attitudes towards learning.

The report states: "Collaboration is a particularly strong feature of the school. Leaders and staff share a team approach to establish high quality provision for all pupils across most aspects of the school's work.
