Suspect in 'bleach attack' arrested

A SUSPECT wanted in connection with a “bleach attack” at a Welsh wellness retreat was arrested in Romania and extradited back to the UK, a court has heard.

Police launched a manhunt for the owner of the Hafan y Coed centre in Abercrave in the upper Swansea Valley after a man suffered serious facial injuries in an incident in December, 2022.
It was only “intensive treatment” from medics which saved the man’s eyesight.
