Pressure has grown on the Swansea boss following the hammering at the hands of Ipswich Town on Saturday, a defeat that was underpinned by a largely pitiful performance.

Cameron Burgess scored two own goals, while Jack Clarke and Ivan Azon also found the net on a disastrous afternoon for the hosts, who responded with a second-half strike from Goncalo Franco.

A section of supporters vented their frustrations at full-time, with some calling for Sheehan to go.

Having lost five of their last eight games in all competitions, Swansea head into the international break 18th in the Championship, and are now eight points adrift of the top six.
