South Wales Evening Post
|July 31, 2025
NEW Dragons defence coach Dale MacLeod has backed the club's owners to fight their corner as the Welsh Rugby Union considers cutting the number of professional teams in Wales.
-

It is an unsettling period for everyone associated with the four professional clubs - Cardiff, Dragons, Ospreys and Scarlets - especially the players.
But MacLeod, who has joined the Dragons as defence coach from New Zealand outfit Northland, has confidence in the Dragons’ owners - David Wright, David Buttress and Hoyoung Huh.
