'More festive fun than ever before' promised

FROM Victorian charm to sparkling lights, artisan markets and ice sculptures, there'll be more festive fun than ever before for residents and visitors in Swansea city centre this Christmas.

The season begins with a new addition the Swansea Victorian Christmas Fayre running from Thursday November 20 to Sunday November 23.
Taking over Oxford Street, Princess Way and Portland Street, this traditional-style event will bring the magic of a bygone era to the heart of the city.
Visitors can expect around 50 artisan stalls, Victorian-costumed traders, street food, roaming entertainment and live performances.
The event is being delivered by Swansea Council in partnership with LSD Promotions.
Cllr David Hopkins, Swansea Council's Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Delivery, said: "Swansea city centre will be the place to be this Christmas, with more festive fun than ever before.
