VITOR MATOS admits he's not sure if his backroom team will be given clearance to join him at Swansea City, and says Brexit rules have complicated the process.

Diogo Medeiros, his assistant at former club Maritimo, as well as coach Toze Mendes and analyst Goncalo Ricca, are all hoping to link up with Matos in SAl.

However, they are yet to receive the green light from the FA and the Home Office to begin work in South Wales.

Speaking ahead of his side’s clash with Oxford United tomorrow, Matos insisted the situation is beyond club's control, adding he’s not entirely sure what the outcome will be.

“There's still no update,” he said. “It's something that is under the control of the club. It’s something that goes beyond the club so the legal team is still taking care of it.
