Manifesting something healthier for lunch at new city cafe
South Wales Evening Post
|October 01, 2025
With plenty of fresh fruit and veg, and a healthy alternative to a sweet treat, Manifest is a welcome addition to Swansea's high street, writes Indigo Jones
WHEN you think about popping out at lunchtime to get a quick bite, convenience usually wins.
A gap in the market for more nutritious fare is being filled at Manifest in Swansea with its salads packed with flavour and fresh ingredients, and soft-serve acai bowls which are perfect for breakfast, brunch or lunch.
Manifest opened in Union Street in July and started off strong with a big social media presence.
One Swansea TikTokker even said “the vibes and products were all 10/10”.
When we first arrived we were blown away by just how spacious the location was with plenty of places to sit down and chill out.
The cafe was well lit with artwork lining the walls and plenty of colour dotted around, making it feel very welcoming.
It was midday, so maybe an early lunch slot, but it was fairly quiet.
The toughest decision was what to order.
The cafe definitely is on trend as people think about their diets more and are more conscious when it comes to how things affect their bodies and wellbeing.
Manifest has a wide variety of tea, local coffee, and matchas, as well as smoothies with different superfood options for a healthy boost.
It had multiple soft drink options in the fridge too, including CBD-infused drinks and seltzers.
