DAN Fish says Cardiff were hurting after last weekend's heavy defeat at Ebbw Vale and has demanded a reaction when they face the Steelmen in Super Rygbi Cymru again today.

The Blue and Blacks had no answer to Ebbw’s power at Eugene Cross Park, where hooker Ieuan Morris helped himself to a second-half hat-trick off the bench to cement a crushing 60-20 win for Ebbw.

In response, Cardiff head coach Fish has rung the changes, with nine alterations to his starting XV; six in the forwards, including a new front row, while there are three personal and two positional changes behind the scrum.

Ireland international Ed Byrne has been drafted in at loosehead, while hooker Alun Rees and tighthead Tom Harper return, as does Nathan Hudd in the back-row.

Wales and Cardiff Rugby prop Corey Dom-achowski has been named among the replacements as he looks to get his first min utes of the season on his return from injury.
