Callard to stay on at RGC

FORMER Bath and England full back Jon Callard will continue as head coach at RGC in Super Rygbi Cymru until at least the end of the season.

In the wake of last weekend's stunning 54-26 triumph over Bridgend at the Brewery Field the 59-year-old confirmed he will remain for the rest of the current campaign. Callard originally came in during the summer preseason period to support both the Senior Academy and SRC player groups.

“I’m really enjoying my time here in North Wales, and I'm delighted to be staying until the end of the season,” said Callard.

“I like the concept of what Super Rygbi Cymru is about and what we're trying to achieve here for the rugby talent in this region. The squad have been great and our challenge now is to climb the league table.”
