NORTH LONDON CLUB IN POLE POSITON TO SECURE PRIZED SIGNATURE OF WALES STAR

- STEFFAN THOMAS Rugby Correspondent steffan.thomas@reachplc.com

WALES star Tomos Williams is on the verge of completing a sensational move to Saracens.

The 30-year-old’s Gloucester contract expires at the end of the season and Williams has been on the shopping list of some of European rugby's biggest clubs along with rebel competition R360.

The Cherry & Whites want to retain Williams but we understand Saracens are now closing in on his signature with a deal close to completion.

Williams is one of the deadliest attacking number nines in world rugby and has made a huge impres sion on the Gallagher Prem since joining Gloucester from Cardiff at the start of the 2024/25 season.
