Group's call for fans to see potential region bids

THE Cardiff Rugby supporters trust, CF10, has called on the Welsh Rugby Union to allow fans to examine any potential bids to buy the club.
Cardiff Rugby entered into administration in April and was subsequently bought by the Welsh Rugby Union. The governing body is in the process of selling the club and last Sunday revealed there have been at least four bidders.
One of those is a consortium led by former Cardiff director Martyn Ryan which includes a trio of Hollywood directors.
It has also been suggested that Ospreys owners Y11 Sports & Media may have bid and, were they successful, the WRU would be able to reduce the number of professional clubs from four to three by consensus.
