PRIME Minister Sir Keir Starmer could make Vaughan Gething a lord.
-
Sir Keir is reported to be appointing two dozen Labour peers to the House of Lords in order to help him push through legislation in the new year.
Mr Gething, who became the first black leader of a European country when he was appointed as First Minister in 2024, is said to be among those the Prime Minister wants to make a lord, according to The Times.
He resigned after just four months in the job after controversy and tension within the government.
