The 2015 MTN8 title is the only trophy that Travis Graham won as a player. The 32-year-old, who recently retired from professional football, led a young Ajax Cape Town team against a formidable Kaizer Chiefs side, and Nathan Paulse's goal from the penalty spot was enough to separate the two teams. A year earlier, Graham ended up on the losing side in the Nedbank Cup final against Mamelodi Sundowns. Despite his illustrious career, which spanned over a decade, the Cape Town-born former midfielder finished his career with only one trophy and no national team caps. In the second part of his interview with Soccer Laduma's Delmain Faver, Graham shares his thoughts on the reasons why he never played for Bafana Bafana, lists the best coaches he has ever worked with and opens up about his best achievements.

Delmain Faver: Travis, welcome back and thanks for taking the time to talk to us once again. At which club did we see the best version of Travis Graham?

Travis Graham: Oh, it's a tricky one.

DF: Statistically, we can tell you where you featured most, and most supporters would assume that is an obvious choice. In your career, you made the most appearances for Ajax Cape Town...

TG: Ajax was definitely the place where people saw the best of me. But my time at Maritzburg United was also when I took my football to the next level. Obviously, I had some great coaches, especially coach Fadlu Davids and his technical staff. It was definitely the best time. I also worked with Coach Ernst Middendorp, and it was a time when I felt like I had elevated myself to the next level. So, those two times were where I played my best football.

DF: Speaking of coaches, your top three coaches under whom you featured predominantly were: you made 69 appearances under coach Roger de Sa, 47 appearances under coach Middendorp and then 23 under coach Stanley Menzo. Which coach brought the best out of you? You have mentioned coach Fadlu, coach Ernst, but which coach really got your career to where you wanted it to be?

TG: Coach Fadlu and coach Ernst were big influences in taking my career to the next stage. Coach Roger was an influential part of my career where he made me the captain of the team and trusted me to fulfil certain duties besides playing football. He is someone who really gave me a platform and also helped me a lot during my playing time at Ajax. But as I say, I've learned from, and appreciated all the coaches that I've been under, including those other three. Those three were really pivotal in my career and I've learned a lot during that period of my career.

Sibisi was also the weakest link

The issue of player selection is a tricky one, but this tournament, and the Cameroon game in particular where the coach applied a 3-5-2 formation, told us that the personnel he had at his disposal didn’t suit that gameplan.

It's not easy for Siwelele to lose

In the late 1990s, Lehlohonolo Seema was part of the youthful yet formidable Bloemfontein Celtic alongside his fellow countryman Lebajoa Mphongoa. The duo were recruited from Lesotho to Siwelele by the late coach April \"Styles\" Phumo. More than 25 years later, Seema is back at the club, now re-named Siwelele FC, this time as a coach. In this interview with Soccer Laduma's Delmain Faver, Seema opens up about his team's challenging yet promising first half of the 2025/26 Betway Premiership season. After 15 matches that have seen the club climb from the depths of despair to a respectable mid-table position, Seema reflects on the psychological battles, tactical adjustments, and crucial decisions that have shaped their campaign. The mentor discusses the decision to relocate all home fixtures to Bloemfontein, the mental rehabilitation of players scarred by previous relegation battles, and the emergence of promising young talents like 20-year-old striker Siviwe Magidigidi.
