Lucky escape for ducklings in town centre drain drama

TWO small animals had a lucky escape last week after they were rescued from a storm drain.
An independent financial advisor from a Sleaford Money advice service heard their cries for help early on Thursday morning.
Cheyanne Donnelly who works at Money Minder on the corner of Boston Road, heard a chirping noise as she returned from collecting the company’s mail.
She said: “I looked around and couldn't see anything but it kept happening.
“That's when I looked down at the drain and saw one of them down there.”
There were two baby ducklings caught in the storm drain.
