Inspections find quality remains at 'welcoming' attractions

TWO of Sleaford's most iconic heritage attractions, Cogglesford Watermill and Navigation House, have recently maintained their Quality Assured Visitor Attraction Status following positive VisitEngland inspections.

The inspections highlighted the quality of the visitor experience, praising the warmth and welcome at both sites. Cogglesford Watermill was noted for its "warm and welcoming first impression" and "friendly staff." Meanwhile, Navigation House was commended for its "fantastic customer engagement" and "highly effective" storytelling.

At the District Council's fully-restored working watermill, visitors can see historic milling machinery in action and even try milling themselves. Thought to be the only Sheriff's Watermill still operating in England, millers have been producing flour on this site for over a thousand years.
