Last week I was delighted to announce more investment for South Shields.
Just this summer, more than £10million was secured for our town centre, and last week I announced that £20million worth of funding over the next 10 years has been allocated to Biddick Hall to spend on local projects.
These projects will be determined by residents. Just as the millions secured for our town centre in the summer was rooted in discussions and plans from those who live and work in our town centre, the monies for Biddick Hall will be spent on the priorities of local residents.
