Laurence Jenkins was a comfortable winner of South Shields Harriers' first Yacht Handicap of the winter series.

Jenkins moved up to the front and was 35 seconds clear of Michael Sybenga, with Nichola Hood third.
Matthew Wilson in 22nd recorded the fastest time of 18:51 for the 3.5-miles Bents Park course.
