Film screening prompts a discussion over climate crisis

The Ocean Road Community Centre has held a public screen of The People’s Emergency Briefing in an effort to encourage a local discussion on the climate and nature crisis.

The screening formed part of a UK-wide programme of events that looks to engage communities over the issue of climate change.

In South Tyneside, the discussion after the screening focused on public education, energy security and water pollution.
