A "WORLD-FIRST" exhibition at Hever Castle will examine the true image of one of the most famous residents in Sevenoaks' history.

Nearly 500 years after her execution, Henry VIII's second queen Anne Boleyn continues to fascinate, yet historians have long debated what she truly looked like.
Some have argued that Anne's great beauty captured the eye of the king, while others put forth the case that it was her wit, style and intelligence, not her looks, which drew Henry to her.
Capturing A Queen: The Image of Anne Boleyn, will track the changing face of Anne through the centuries, analysing how and why her image has altered.
Opening in February, it will bring together a large number of portraits from different periods of history, which are all believed to depict Anne.
