Developer reveals early proposals for 100 new homes to be built in Hadlow

THE tight-knit village of Hadlow is being targeted by a developer with plans for a new housing estate.

Although no planning application has yet bee submitted, developer Redrow Homes has already put up a website for the proposed development of 100 homes on a field off Carpenter's Lane.
Redrow Homes said half of the homes in the new “community” would be affordable, and these “will be specifically made available for Hadlow residents before anyone else”.
The homes would range in size from one to five bedrooms, with the smallest units aimed at young villagers who want to get on the housing ladder, growing families, and downsizers.
