A WOMAN who suffered “heartbreaking” comments about her weight since childhood lost an incredible 11st for the sake of her children.

Hannah Sleight, 30, from Scunthorpe, lost half her body weight after fearing her children would grow up without a mum.

Hannah even continued her weight loss plan while pregnant with her third child under the supervision of her midwife.

She said: “To put it bluntly, I was totally unfit. I was almost 22st.”

Even climbing the stairs would “do me in”, she recalled, and one terrifying incident spurred her to improve her health.

She said: “I'd taken my daughter to Scarborough Open Air Theatre for a show and our seats were right at the top.

“By the time I got there, I thought I was going to have a heart attack.”

Hannah described it as the “scariest moment of my life”.
